Making (more) room for Jesus in your own home
It is tough being a parent. Trying to make ends meet and balancing the
needs and wants of your family—careers, groceries, soccer practice—often
something must go. Unfortunately that “something” can end
up being time for God.
Looking a little closer, one might discover that it isn’t just
fitting in time for religion and faith. Making room for Jesus in your
home isn’t something that is second nature. Learning how to incorporate
faith into our daily lives is a challenge. Nonetheless, we need it and
our children need it! After all, we are our children’s first teachers.
Here are some suggestions for making your home a place of faith,
and some ideas on how to follow through. See if you can incorporate these
into your daily lives or weekly schedules.
